Get to know me...
Hi there! My name is Amirah, a 21-year-old, fine-art traveling photographer from upstate New York and I am so glad you're here! I graduated from The State University of New York College of Agriculture and Technology at Cobleskill with a bachelors degree in animal science, pre-vet focused.
I mainly specialize in equestrian portraits, but I am known to dabble in several other specialities including but not limited to: canine, family, couples, and weddings. I am mostly known for my equine portraits in the form of horse & rider sessions and black background portraiture, but I LOVE spontaneity and adventure - I will pretty much photograph any vision that ignites the creative mind. Since I am often bored with mundane day-to-day life, traveling and photography is a must to spice things up!

I started photographing in 2013 and no sooner found myself picking up shows as an OP. As much as I adore photographing clients under saddle or in competition, I found myself needing more creativity and purpose then solely being an OP could offer. By 2016 I switched to private client photography and fell madly in love with the art of photography. I found expression through my work and I truly live for the emotions elicited by my photographs, along with the honor that comes from the privilege of every client who has entrusted their memories to me.

Something I take away from every session is the opportunity to meet incredible new people and forge a special bond with their fur babies. It is important to me that the relationships I build with my clients turn long-lasting; your dreams become mine and I intend to create memories that last you a lifetime.
