Katlin's mom inquired about doing a session for her daughter's sweet 16th and she wanted to have these portraits of Kati and her lease horse, "Colour Me Sterling" not only for her to have, but as a birthday present for Kati as well.
Kati's session took place in Huntington, NY at the barn she leases and rides Silver at. This session was nothing short of perfection. Kati and her mom picked out three perfect outfits for her two hour portrait session; the first one being a marvelous teal dress that looked absolutely stunning on Kati, and complimented Silver's coat. Followed by a casual riding out for her portraits near the outdoor arena, and the last outfit of the evening, a navy blue dress that complimented the tones of the greenery and sunset.
Kati & Silver's bond is evident throughout her gallery. You can see just how relaxed and trusting Silver is of Kati, and her affection for him. We had help from Katie's mom and Silver's owner to ensure this session was nothing short of perfection, and everything went smoothly thanks to the assistance with getting ears forward.
We were blessed with a beautiful sunset to end our session in Long Island, and this beautiful gallery to celebrate Kati's birthday and her love for Silver.
